What To Expect Camping in A Tent
Granite State Campground has 13 large tent sites that each accomodate one vehicle. Up to two adults and two children for $40/night, additional adults are $20 per person per night with a max of 4 adults per site. Two regular-sized tents can fit on one site.
All sites come with an electrical outlet, perfect for charging devices or using an electric cooker. There’s a burn pit, picnic table, cold water tap, and free hot showers in one of our bath houses! Coin-op laundry facilities are also available. There is no WiFi or cable at the tent sites, but if you stand near our Office Cabin you can get on our WiFi.

Where Can I buy Firewood?
We often work with locals to offer firewood for sale; the wood is stacked at the Maintenance Barn – bring cash for the honor-system cash box. It is bad for the environment (and prohibited) to burn wood brought in from out of state.
Is There a weekly rate?
A weekly rate for a tent site (7 nights) is $240. You are able to book on our website. We use FireFly as our booking service. A deposit of $10 is taken at the time of booking, plus a one-time $3.50 processing fee. The balance of your bill is due when you arrive and must be paid in cash or check only.
What is the bathroom / shower situation?
You have use of two bathhouses on the property with free hot showers. The bathhouse that also features laundry is handicap accessible.
What is your pet policy?
Pets are welcome. You must pick up after them, leash them when they’re outdoors, and we ask you not leave pets alone and behind if you leave the grounds.
What is your cancellation policy?
We know plans can change; please call us ASAP so we can attempt to rent the space you had reserved.
Multiple cancellations may mean GSC doesn’t welcome you back.
How many cars are allowed onsite?
One vehicle per site. If you have questions, call us before booking.
